They say that April showers bring May flowers, but here in Austin, Texas, it looks like June has brought the monsoon. The central Texas hill country has been hit hard this month with some heavy rain fall causing floods that left some people without homes. This just goes to show that it can happen to anyone, at any time, and all it can take is an act of nature to confront us with the reality of losing everything. Knowing that, we can practice ‘Gratitude’ for what we do have, as Fred Pettit shares with us in his story on page one of this months edition.
