Are you registered to vote? by Claudia

All of us need to have our viewpoint heard, no matter what the issue. In light of how much homelessness costs our city, (i.e. going to the ER for dehydration leading to kidney and heart issues) the Challenger urges you to double the city’s money power by voting for the Housing Bond. Housing homeless people saves money on police, tickets, court costs, jail, prison costs, ambulance rides, ER visits, hospital stays, etc. It’s time we get past our moral bankruptcy and be fiscally responsible by sheltering un-housed struggling souls.

By the way, the shelters are full! If Austin has the estimated 8,000 people, (2- 3,000 children) Where do we go to take care of ourselves? Is it to the voting booth!

FYI you can register your address as: Intersection near Ben White/Congress or where you live.

Registration Deadline: October 9
